Did you know that every year more than 300 Brent residents die due to a smoking- related illness?
And were you aware that those who quit reduce their chance of having a heart attack by half after just one year smoke free?
| So how can you get involved? |
Brent Stop Smoking Service is looking to work alongside community groups and businesses in Brent to provide them with the tools to help their members and employees quit smoking once and for all.
We would like to invite you to join us for an information event to discuss how you can help members of your community lead a healthier lifestyle by quitting smoking.
At the event, we’ll tell you about:
Actively helping members of your community to quit smoking
Free professional training and follow-on support
Attractive remuneration package for participating organisations
The event will take place at Patidar House, 22 London Road, Wembley, Middlesex HA9 7EX on 10 December 2009 and you can come either in the afternoon from 3 to 5pm or in the evening from 7 to 9pm.
